The research report “
CNN-AutoMIC: combining Convolutional Neural Network and Autoencoder to learn non-linear features for knn-based Malware Image Classification
” it has been accepted for publication in the prestigious first-tier scientific journal “Computers & Security”, and will be available soon.
The research, carried out by colleagues Andrea Iannacone, Simone Andriani and Antonio Maci of the CyberLab BV TECH, in collaboration with the University of Bari – Department of Computer Science, was born as part of the activities envisaged by the “Cybersecurity and SOC Products Suite” Program Contract “. The malware classification mechanism resulting from the research activity has already been integrated into the NIDPS component of the BV TECH CyberSuite.
