BV TECH ha ottenuto la concessione del brevetto di invenzione industriale relativo a un innovativo “Metodo di riconoscimento di malware basato su analisi di API”

BV TECH has obtained the concession, from the Italian Patent and Trademark Office of the Ministry of Economic Development, of the industrial invention patent relating to an innovative “Malware recognition method based on API analysis”.

The patented malware recognition mechanism introduces an innovative way for classifying 0-day malware, through the static or dynamic analysis of executable files, generating signatures capable of powering scanning and detection systems.

The method, conceived and developed by my colleague Antonio Coscia, was born as part of the research activities relating to the “Cybersecurity and SOC Product Suite” Program Contract carried out by the CyberLab BV TECH of Grottaglie and Rutigliano, and is already integrated into the components of the Cybersuite BV TECH.
