BV TECH awarded the “Best Industrial Paper Award” at the 2026 ICAART International Conference

At the end of the international conference “ICAART 2026 – 18th International Conference on Agents an Artificial Intelligence”, which was held in Marbella, Spain, from 5 to 7 March 2026, the “Best Industrial Paper Award” was awarded to BV TECH for the research report “JewelCVSS: A Domain-Tuned LLM for Automated Vulnerability Scoring”, carried out by colleagues Roberto Lorusso, Antonio Maci, Alessandro Santorsola, Pietro Spalluto and Stefano Valcada as part of the research activities envisaged by the Program Contract “Product Suites
cybersecurity and SOC”.
The research results, presented by Stefano Valcada and Pietro Spalluto, attracted keen interest from participants and were recognized as the best contribution presented by an industrial company by the Conference’s scientific committee: the research was in fact carried out exclusively by BV TECH personnel within the CyberLab of Grottaglie and Rutigliano, demonstrating the skills and capabilities developed in the use of Generative AI applied to the cybersecurity domain. The research report will subsequently be published in the conference proceedings.
